Navegaon National Park is located in Navegaon area of Maharashtra, at a distance of approximately 150 km from city. It is one of the most popular Forest Reserves of the Vidharbh region of the state and was established in 18th century. Sprawled over an area of almost 135sq km, the wild park coprises of a deer park, an aviary, 3 landscaped garden and Dr.Salim Ali Birds Santuary.

Flora: Teak, Haldu, Jamun, Kawat, Mahua, Ain, Bhel and Bhor.
Fauna: Though Navegaon is better known as a bird sanctuary, a number of wild animals could also be sighted. Tigers, Panthers, Bisons, Sambars, Nilgais, Chitals, Wild boars, Sloth Bears, and Wild Dogs are main wild life species in this national park.
Timing:- Entry between 7 pm and 4 am hours is prohibited.
Best time to visit:- The best time to visit the national park is during April and May.

By Air:- The nearest airport is Nagpur (150 km).
By Rail:- The nearest railhead is Deulgaon 2 kms from Navegaon on the Chandrapur-Gondia railway line.
By Bus:- The nearest bus stand is Navegaon 10 kms away.
Accommodation:-
For accommodation, there is holiday home, rest house, loghut rest house and youth hostel facility. Interpretation centre, small museum and library facilities are available at park. Seven Watch cabins and five watch towers are located at park for wild life observation and photography.
